DIA/DAY 9 - 04/03/2017

Hoje fomos às montanhas Pustevny com o diretor e com quatro alunos da escola secundária de Frýdek-Místek. Apanhámos o autocarro por volta das 9h. Quando chegámos fomos beber um café e comer algo e depois começámos a subir a montanha, foi um percurso um bocado difícil para quem não está habituado a andar na neve. No final do percurso estava uma estátua do deus pagão Radegast. Quando voltámos para trás, parámos num sítio onde havia imensa neve e construímos um boneco de neve, e depois fomos almoçar num restaurante que serviu comida magnífica! Depois do almoço, voltámos para baixo mas descemos por um percurso um bocado complicado pela montanha, e foi lá em baixo que o autocarro nos apanhou. Chegámos a casa e eu fiquei a trabalhar um bocado no blog e a ouvir a minha música, e fui dormir.

Today we went to the Pustevny mountains with the principal and four pupils from the Frydek-Místek secondary school. We took the bus around 9am. When we arrived we went to drink some coffee and eat something and then we started to climb the mountain, it was a difficult course for those who are not used to walk in the snow. At the end of the route was a statue of the pagan god Radegast. When we got back, we stopped at a place where there was a lot of snow and built a snowman, and then we went to have lunch in a restaurant that served great food! After lunch, we went back down but we went down a complicated route along the mountain, and it was down there that the bus picked us up. We got home and I went to work a little bit on the blog and listen to some music, and went to sleep.

DIA/DAY 8 - 03/03/2017

Na parte da manhã fomos à fábrica da cerveja Radegast, onde começámos por ver um filme a explicar a história de como tudo acerca da cerveja Radegast começou, e de seguida tivemos uma breve explicação pelo guia sobre como funcionavam os processos de fabrico da mesma. Infelizmente, nas partes interiores da fábrica era proibido tirar fotografias, mas foi muito interessante, menos o cheiro! À tarde fomos visitar a fábrica de carros Hyundai, mais conhecida por ter a tecnologia mais avançada a ser usada no fabrico dos carros, com o uso de uma excelente e precisa programação para controlar os robôs. Infelizmente, não se podia tirar fotos na parte de dentro das instalações. Depois, por volta das 18:30h, fomos assistir a um jogo de hóquei entre Frydek-Místek e Dukla Jihlava no gelo com dois colegas checos, e foi super interessante pois eu nunca tinha assistido a um jogo assim, estava um ambiente mesmo bom. O jogo demorou umas 2h e depois voltámos para casa e fomos dormir. -- In the morning we went to the Radegast brewery, where we started by watching a movie explaining the history about Radegast beer, and then we had a brief explanation of how the brewing processes worked. Unfortunately, in the interior parts of the factory it was forbidden to take pictures, but it was very interesting, except for the smell! In the afternoon we visited the Hyundai car factory, mostly known for having the most advanced technology to be used in car manufacturing, with the use of excellent and precise programming to control the robots. Unfortunately, you could not take photos inside the factory. Then around 18:30 we went to see an ice hockey game between Frýdek-Místek and Dukla Jihlava with two Czech colleagues, and it was super interesting because I had never seen a game like that, it was a really good atmosphere. Frýdek-Místek won the game with the final results of 3-2. The game took about 2 hours and then we went back home and went to sleep.

DIA/DAY 7 - 02/03/2017

Com a partida às 8:30h, nós, os alunos de Frídek-Místek, juntamente com o resto dos alunos de Hranice, fomos visitar as grutas Javoricske e chegámos por volta das 9h. As grutas por dentro estavam naturalmente muito bem preservadas, e estas tinham pequenos morcegos em hibernação. Depois da visita às grutas, fomos ao Castelo de Bouzov, chegámos lá às 11h. Tivemos uma guia a mostrar-nos o castelo por dentro, era tudo muito mais interessante do que é agora, por ser diferente e talvez mais velho, e esta visita guiada durou cerca de 1h. Almoçámos num restaurante em Olomouc, e depois fomos ao Museu do Queijo, onde nos foi mostrado um filme interessante acerca de como foi sendo feito o queijo ao longo dos anos. Depois dessa última visita do dia, viemos para o nosso alojamento em Frídek-Místek, fomos jantar e dormir. -- At 8:30 p.m. us, Frýdek-Místek's students, together with the rest of the students from Hranice, visited the Javoricske caves and arrived at around 9am. The caves inside were naturally very well preserved, and also had small bats in hibernation. After visiting the caves, we went to Bouzov Castle, we arrived there at 11am. We had a guide showing us the castle from the inside, it was all much more interesting in the past than it is now, for being different and maybe older, and this guided tour lasted about 1pm. We had lunch at a restaurant in Olomouc, and then we went to the Cheese Museum, where we were shown an interesting film about how cheese was made over the years. After that last visit of the day, we came to our dorms in Frýdek-Místek, went to dinner and sleep.

DIA/DAY 6 - 01/03/2017

Hoje foi o primeiro dia de trabalho (estágio), acordei por volta das 7h da manhã e depois um aluno checo veio buscar-me a mim e ao meu colega Pedro às 9h para nos levar para o nosso local de estágio, InfoTec, que fica a 15/20min a pé do nosso alojamento. Tivemos uma reunião com a diretora e com dois professores da escola para sabermos o nosso horário e que tipo de projecto iríamos fazer durante o estágio. Fomos super bem recebidos pela escola. Trabalhámos então desde as 10h até às 14h da tarde, e tivemos 20 minutos para almoçar na cantina da escola. Dois estudantes checos foram os nossos guias pois mostraram-nos as salas e ficaram connosco para nos explicarem como funciona o projecto. À noite, depois do jantar, fomos todos a um salão de bowling perto de casa com uns colegas checos, bebemos uma cervejinha, e fomos para casa dormir depois de jogarmos. --
Today was the first day of work (internship), I woke up around 7am and then a Czech student came and took me and my colleague Pedro at 9am to our workplace, Infotech, 15 / 20min walk from our dorms.
We had a meeting with three teachers at the school to know our schedule and what kind of project we were going to do during the internship. We were very well received by the school. Then we worked from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and had 20 minutes to have lunch in the school canteen. Two Czech students were our guides and they showed us the classrooms and stayed with us to explain how the project works. 
At night, after dinner, we all went to a bowling alley near our home with Czech colleagues, drank a beer, and went home to sleep after we finished the game.
