DIA/DAY 26 - 21/03/2017

Hoje saímos do hotel e fomos para a estação de comboios por volta das 9h da manhã. Apanhámos o comboio com direção a Praga com uma duração de 3h. Depois o transfer foi-nos buscar à estação ferroviária de Praga e levou-nos para o aeroporto. Tivemos que ficar algumas horas à espera, mas apanhámos o avião para Lisboa às 18h, foi um voo tranquilo, deu para dormir um bocado. Chegámos a Lisboa por volta das 21:25h e voltámos a apanhar outro avião para Faro. Quando chegámos, pelas 22:30h, estavam os pais já à nossa espera e também o Prof Paulo Ribeiro!

We left the hotel and went straight to the train station around 9am. We took the train that was heading Prague, the trip lasted for 3h long. When we arrived at Prague, the transfer went to pick us up at the train station and took us to the airport. We had to wait a few hours, but we caught the plane flying towards Lisbon at 6pm, it was a peaceful flight, I even slept a little. We arrived at Lisbon around 9:25pm and caught another plane to Faro. We arrived at 10:30pm, all the parents were there waiting for us and also teacher Pablo Ribiero!

DIA/DAY 25 - 20/03/2017

Hoje voltámos à escola em Hranice, apresentámos mais uma vez o nosso trabalho acerca de Loulé, e ficámos numa sala a conviver com a turma, o meu colega Pedro estava a ensinar palavras portuguesas aos alunos checos, e eu fiquei com outra parte da turma a jogarmos a jogos de palavras. Depois de almoçarmos, fomos a Ostrava visitar um museu interativo, foi bastante interessante!

Today we went back to the school in Hranice, we presented our project about Loulé once again and then we stayed in a classroom hanging out with the pupils. My colleague Pedro was teaching some of pupils portuguese words, and I got to be with the other part of the class playing games of words. After having lunch, we went to Ostrava to visit an Interactive Museum, it was pretty fun and interesting!

DIA/DAY 24 - 19/03/2017

Mais uma vez, dia livre! Eu e o meu colega Pedro fomos buscar duas amigas nossas de Frýdek-Místek à estação de comboios, que vieram a Hranice para passar o dia connosco. Foi o dia da despedida final. Almoçámos todos juntos e fomos a uma sala de chá, onde passámos a tarde inteira a conviver lá. Foi um óptimo dia!

Once again, free day! I and Pedro went to pick up two of our friends from Frýdek-Místek at the train station, who came all the way long to Hranice to spend the day with us. It was the last goodbye. We all had lunch together and we went to a tearoom, where we spent the entire afternoon hanging out in. It was such a great day!

DIA/DAY 23 - 18/03/2017

Hoje foi um dia mesmo relaxado, podemos dormir até mais tarde! Saímos do hotel por volta das 11h da manhã e apanhámos o autocarro que nos levou até ao pé das Grutas Punkva, pois tivemos que andar durante uns 20 minutos até lá chegar. Foi uma experiência fantástica, as grutas por dentro eram magníficas, posso dizer que voltaria lá sem pensar duas vezes!

Today was such a relaxing day, we could sleep a little bit more! We left the hotel around 11am and we caught the bus that took us somewhere near the Punkva Caves, because we had to take a 20 minute walk to the caves. It was an amazing experience, the caves were beautiful from the inside, I can actually say I'd visit them again without thinking twice!

DIA/DAY 22 - 17/03/2017

Hoje acordei por volta das 7h da manhã, para estar pronto na escola em Hranice às 8:40h. Hoje foi dia das apresentações do nosso projecto! Logo quando chegámos, fomos para o ginásio da escola para nos apresentarmos aos alunos da escola, o meu amigo Tiago tocou guitarra para os miúdos, foi bastante tranquilo. Na primeira aula, eu e o meu colega Pedro apresentámos o nosso trabalho acerca de Loulé, correu super bem. Na segunda aula, os alunos checos apresentaram-nos alguns trabalhos sobre a UNESCO, e na última aula fomos assistir a uma aula de educação física, onde fiquei no banco devido a dores musculares. Na parte da tarde, não havia muito para fazer por isso fui para o hotel e passei lá a tarde.

Today I woke up around 7am so I could be ready at 8:40am in this school in Hranice. Today was the day to present our project to czech pupils! When we first arrived at school, we went to the gym so we could introduce ourselves to the pupils, my friend Tiago also played the guitar for them, it was quite relaxing. In the first class, I and my colleague Pedro presented our project about Loulé, it went great. In the second class, czech pupils presented to us some homework about UNESCO, and in the last class we watched a physical education class going on, where I was sitting all the time due to muscular pain. In the afternoon, there wasn't that much things to do so I went to the hotel and spent my afternoon there.

DIA/DAY 21 - 16/03/2017

Hoje acordámos cedo para irmos visitar a fábrica de orelhas em Štramberk, uma cidade mesmo bonita. Esta fábrica é apenas uma pequena padaria, onde nos foi explicado como faziam as orelhas e os métodos de execução das mesmas, foi interessante! De seguida fomos a uma torre na vila, com uma vista fantástica lá em cima da torre. Fomos almoçar a um restaurante mesmo em frente da torre e depois fomos de volta para Frýdek-Místek e tivemos duas horas para acabarmos de fazer as malas. Infelizmente, foi o nosso último dia em Frýdek-Místek, estava a correr tudo mesmo bem.

We woke up very early today, and we went to visit the factory of "ears", in Štramberk, a beautiful city. This factory is a small bakery, where they explained us how the ears were made and how to cook them, it was very interesting! Afterwards, we visited this old tower, where you have an amazing view from the top of it. We had lunch at a restaurant just in front of the tower and then we went back to Frýdek-Místek and had two hours to finish packing our bags. Unfortunately, it was our last day in Frýdek-Místek, everything was going so well.

DIAS/DAYS 18,19,20 - 13/03/2017_15/03/2017

Estes foram os últimos dias de trabalho, dias super criativos! No primeiro dia, foi quando eu e o meu colega Pedro começámos a trabalhar com Cisco Networking, onde começámos por ver um pequeno vídeo a explicar como eram transportados os pacotes pela rede. Após trabalharmos um bocado, fomos para outra sala que tinha uma impressora 3D, e o professor quis também mostrar-nos o scan 3D. No segundo dia, começámos o dia a ser entrevistados pelas duas alunas checas que estavam a fazer o documentário acerca do nosso projecto, e depois fomos para a rua para elas nos filmarem, também para adicionar ao documentário. No último dia, apresentámos o trabalho que fizemos com Cisco a outras turmas da escola.

These were the last days of work, super creative days! On the first day, I and my colleague Pedro started to work using Cisco Networking, where we watched a small film about how the packets were moved through the network. After working a little bit, we went to another classroom that had a 3D printer, and the teacher also wanted to show us the 3D scan. On the second day, two czech pupils interviewed me and Pedro because of the documentary they were performing, and then we went outside so they could also film us there. On the last day, we presented the work we've done using Cisco to different classes of the school.
